We regularly measure and report the environmental impact of all our activities to minimize the effects of global environmental risks, such as climate change and the depletion of natural resources. We identify areas for improvement and determine the actions we will take accordingly.
Our priority topics within the focus of clean and safe operations -“Climate Crisis and Energy Management,” “Air Emissions,” and “Water and Wastewater Management” - cover our efforts to combat climate change.
We are improving our ability to adapt to changing conditions by embracing the technology and digitalization trends that are driving a major global transformation. We produce sustainable solutions to global challenges with our innovative, low-environmental-impact product designs.
Our priority topics within the focus of Sustainable Innovations have been determined as “R&D and Innovation,” “Product Development Suitable for the Environment and Human Health,” and “Circular Economy.” These topics include our investments in digitalization and technology, our product designs in R&D, and our initiatives in upcycling and recycling.
As a signatory to the United Nations Global Compact, we fulfil our responsibilities in line with the ten basic principles under the main headings of “Human Rights,” “Labour,” “Environment,” and “Anti-Corruption.” We are working to expand our company’s sustainability approach across our entire value chain.
Our priority areas under the Sustainable Value Chain focus are “Value Chain Management” and “Financial Performance and Customer Satisfaction.” Our priority areas under the Strong People/Strong Society focus are “Occupational Health and Safety,” “Human and Employee Rights,” “Qualified Workforce and Talent Management,” and “Diversity and Equal Opportunity.” These topics cover the work we do in line with our commitment to creating sustainable, positive value for all our stakeholders in the social, economic, and environmental spheres, and to carry this value into the future.
