We review our company goals annually for sustainability-related topics and ensure that relevant parties, primarily the directly responsible bodies/individuals and units, are included in the base criteria of the bonus system.
We bring the contributions from our communities' work to the Sustainability Executive Committee, which we have established under the Sustainability Committee reporting directly to the Board of Directors. This committee is chaired by our CEO, consists of the senior management team, and meets at least four times a year to evaluate developments in sustainability and climate change. At the same time, we analyze risks and opportunities related to sustainability issues, develop our corporate sustainability strategy through this board, and take the necessary actions to implement the defined goals.
The Sustainability Executive Board plays an active role in monitoring risks and opportunities related to sustainability at Aksa Akrilik. The outputs and comments of the Executive Board are regularly reported to the Sustainability Committee, which meets at least four times a year, and its work is guided by the advice and guidance received. Important issues on the Committee's agenda are brought to the attention of the Board of Directors and evaluated at Board meetings. The Sustainability Committee and the Sustainability Executive Board play a critical role in monitoring and assessing sustainability and climate risks and in making strategic decisions within the framework of their working principles.
Our Sustainability Committee, which reports to our Board of Directors, advises the Board on Aksa's ESG policies and targets and supports their implementation.
